A Year to be Celebrated

As the school year concludes, we pause for a moment to reflect upon the challenges and successes we have experienced during this shared journey. We began the year determined to give it… our everything….each and every day. The students and staff at Jack Jouett Middle School did just that. The unity and relationships that were built in pursuit of this goal are easily seen and heard as teachers and students hug goodbye, shed tears of both sadness and joy, display proud smiles, and share praise for one another with moments of pause to regain composure and clarity. Whether moving on to become freshmen in high school, transferring, or rising within the ranks of Jouett, we are certain that our students, your children, have grown and have contributed greatly to the school that we love so much. As we part for a time, we leave you with a poem called Great Expectations

It's time to say good-bye
Our year has come to an end.
We’ve made more cherished memories
and many more new friends.
We’ve watched your children learn and grow
and change from day to day.
We hope that all the things we've done
Have helped in some small way.
So it's with happy memories
We send them out the door,
With great hope and expectations
for what next year holds in store.
